Okay, the time has come to kick Arthas' ass once and for all! Here's a list of AWESOME new things for us to play with in v3.3 of WoW:
1. New 5-man dungeon (3 wings) dropping item level 219 & 226 on regular/heroic respectively. 2. New 10/25 raid on Icecrown Citadel (regular & heroic for both) 3. Cross-realm LFG System (for 5-man & raid instances) 4. New "quest helper" built-in. 5. Any character over lvl15 can use ANY meeting stone, now we can summon to SM!!! 6. No need to clear all 4 wings of Naxx to fight Sapphiron. (IDK about Kel'Thuzad) 7. Occulus finally nerfed!!! 8. Druid: Rebirth (aka battle-rez) cooldown reduced from 30min to 10min! 9. Shaman: Reincarnate (aka Ankh) cooldown reduced from 60min to 30min! 10. Shadow Priest: Vampiric Embrace now a 30min buff on the priest, generating healing from single-target spells. 11. Warlock: Soulstone cooldown reduced from 30min to 15min. 12. Anyone in a party (not Raid) can mark targets. 13. Northrend fishing tournament! 14. Helm & Shoulder enchants are now Bind on Account (BoA), so grinding rep on all your alts is no longer necessary. :) 15. ALL BoA items may now be mailed cross-faction, on the same server!!!
Blizzard has unveiled the new "skins" for the Druid Cat & Bear forms. The color combinations of these new forms will be loosely tied to the skin/hair color/markings on the humanoid. At this time there are no announced changes to the Owlkin or Tree forms.
For those of you that don't know, BlizzCon is a convention for all things Blizzard. This has primarily been World of Warcraft, but they're launching Diablo 3 & Starcraft 2 soon & those franchises are likely to take off like gang-busters again.
Last year, Nightwind & I went to BlizzCon in October. Unfortunately, Blizzard moved this years BlizzCon to mid-August & so it happens to be the week after school starts here, so no family trip out west for it. :S
More information is now coming out about the DirecTV options. Last year, if you went to the show, or purchased the package got a Polar Bear mount with a Murloc riding atop it. This year, in addition to the DirecTV offering, they're also offering an Internet Streaming
version for non-DirecTV customers! WooHoo!!!
Fishing now allowed in ANY zone, but only catch junk if skill is too low.
Paragon of Power no longer required to apply Glyphs.
Can no longer fail when Mining, Skinning or Herbing.
New dungeon maps have been added for all Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
A new feature has been added allowing players to allocate talent points
before confirming they'd like to spend them. This feature must be
turned on in the Interface Options.
